Who We Are
Rebecca Blank Communications is a communications consultancy based in the Philadelphia metro area. The company was created to give brands and agencies a quick and effective solution when they need additional resources – a virtual seasoned PR pro.
Rebecca brings strategic thinking to her communications skills with nearly 15 years of experience in the food and beverage, non-profit, health, travel, fashion, beauty and lifestyle industries. In her consulting role, Rebecca is leading PR efforts for Mazza Wines with SWELL and assisting with a handful of nonprofit projects. She also spent time working on the Pennsylvania Winery Association.
During her time at Tierney, Rebecca worked on the Donate Life Pennsylvania business and the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania business managing and executing results-driven communication campaigns from start to finish. She also worked with Shire Pharmaceuticals to form a Coalition to help prevent prescription stimulant misuse and managed media relations efforts across a number of other brands at the agency, including Choice Hotels International, QVC, Kings Food Markets and Verizon Wireless.
Prior to working at Tierney, Rebecca worked at Lippe Taylor, a PR agency located in New York City that focuses on marketing to women, working on both global and national accounts, such as Keds, David’s Bridal, Curvy Kate and Genie Bra, to name a few. Here she put together countless market events from inception to completion, and secured high level features in national media outlets, including The Today Show, Marie Claire, Redbook, HarpersBazaar.com, Elle.com, Examiner.com, among many others. From announcing celebrity partnerships with Taylor Swift for Keds and putting on fashion market events for David’s Bridal, to running a national search to empower women by finding the next “Star in a Bra” for Curvy Kate and launching a fashion design contest for Genie Bra, she certainly has an understanding of marketing to woman – who make 85% of purchasing decisions.
Rebecca holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the Pennsylvania State University.
